New! Learn to Draw I and II
Courses for Absolute Beginners
Instructor: Eric Mannella
Learn to Draw I: We'll start at the beginning and each week work through a series of exercises. Lessons involve; learning to see and represent value relationships (light and dark), strategies for drawing shapes, learning to see and simplify forms, ideas for creating depth and volume in your work.
Learn to Draw II: In this course we begin to draw basic 3 dimensional shapes from life. Emphasis is on perspective and accuracy with the intention of creating a realistic depiction. This course also investigates line quality with hatching exercises and linear exercises.
Cost: $225. taxes included for a session of 4 classes.

Our traditional program of drawing and painting art classes are for beginners through professionals.
Professionals can solidify their traditional skills through our detailed teaching approach. Many of our professional students are from the fields of video game art, illustration, graphic design, and tattoo artistry.
Beginners can also excel in our art classes, as they learn good drawing habits from the start. For absolute beginners, we offer a Learn to Draw art course.
Our instructors offer individual instruction and small classes sizes.

New students who have no prior drawing experience can begin with Learn to Draw. This class is for absolute beginners, and is offered as a 4 week session (3 hours/week). New students may start at any time.

Our daytime classes are open to adults and youth from around 14 years old and above. We often work with high school students who are preparing for CEGEP admissions to fine art and also animation programs such as the Dawson College Program in 3D Animation

Academic art is a style of painting and drawing instruction that was produced under the influence of European art academies from the 17th to 19th centuries. It focuses on mastering drawing, anatomy, and perspective, resulting in highly refined and detailed works. The instructors at Studio Brésoles are experts at teaching this style of art instruction and applying it to their own art practice.

Our unique Studio format allows for new students to start at any time. All courses are self-paced and you will receive detailed instruction. It is common for there to be students following different courses all attending the Studio during the same session. Our experienced instructors will guide you through your course.
Our teaching philosophy focuses on detailed individual instruction and mentorship within a small class size. Through this approach, we are able to accept new students to start studying with us at any time throughout the year. Our courses are offered in 4 week sessions, and you may choose the days of the week or evenings that you wish to study with us.

Our daytime classes run from 9:30-4:00pm. Our evening classes run from 6:30-9:30pm. All classes are offered as a 4 week session, and you may choose the days of the week that you wish to study with us. We also offer online classes (3 hours/week), and specialized workshops.
Here is our pricing for daytime classes for a 4 week session:
1/2 day per week (12 hours of instruction): $225 taxes inc
1 day per week (24 hours of instruction): $425. taxes inc.
2 days per week (48 hours of instruction): $800. taxes inc.
3 days per week (72 hours of instruction): $1100. taxes inc.
Our evening classes (12 hours of instruction) are $225 taxes inc. for a 4 week session.
Our online classes (12 hours of instruction) are $225 taxes inc. for a 4 week session.
